Private Investigator Bursary

National bursary competition for academic year 2014/2015 and 2015/2016. Each scholarship will provide £1,000 to assist one student undertaking a full-time course (BTEC Level 3 and above).

The award will be made to the individual student for one year only.

What is This Scholarship?

We have a huge interest in the education of the next generation of private detectives and investigators and as we have a commitment to helping others we are offering one student a monetary award to assist with their education.

Am I Eligible?

To be eligible for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants are required to be studying for a BTEC Level 3 or above
  • Applicants are required to have firmly accepted their offer of a full-time place
  • Applicants must be registered with the university by the 31st October 2014 for the bursary 2014/2015 and 31st October 2015 for the bursary 2015-2016.

A panel made up of private detectives and investigators will meet in early November to consider who the scholarship will be awarded to.

Here is a list of suggested courses that would benefit from this bursary or alternatively if you have applied for or are attending a course that would benefit our industry please apply:

Criminology, Forensic Science, Criminology and Police Science, Forensic Crime Scene, Digital, E-Crime, Cyber Crime, Forensic Investigation, Forensic Analysis, Crime and Investigative Studies, Criminology and Sociology, Law, Psychology and Criminology, Policing, Law and Investigation.

Applicants that meet this criterion are invited to submit a 200 word statement titled "How The Private Investigator Scholarship Will Help Me" via the below form.

    A north east Hampshire town, part of the Rushmoor borough and the built-up area of Farnborough/Aldershot is Farnborough, England. Between Gatwick and Reading on the North Downs Line are Farnborough North station and North Camp railway station. Farnborough Airport by TAG Aviation has been an airport for business operated since 2003.

    Address to the Farnborough Sixth Form College, which draws in from the surrounding area, around 3,000 aged 16-19 students, is the town. Cove F.C, South Farnborough F.C., and Farnborough North End are the town's other clubs. In the Aldershot & District League and Southern Counties League respectively, these teams play. Probably best known for its association with aviation is the town.

Entombed in Abbey of Saint Michael crypt, are Napoleon III French emperor, Empress Eugenie his wife and Louis Napoleon, son, although, while alive, it was only Eugenie who was a Farnborough resident.

In Farnborough, there are two secondary schools of Roman Catholic that are independent. UC Farnborough (UCF) at Farnborough C of Technology, provides courses at degree-level, accredited by the Surrey University, whilst there are no universities in Farnborough.
